Love Story – Dylan and Joanas Love Story

Couples

Couple running off into the distance

Joana and Dylan’s love story feels so easy. These two have been together for six years and married for one, but the way they look at each other? Still full of butterflies!

This session took place at one of my favorite spots, Agritopia Farm . Spring was beginning to show off with fresh blooms and warm light spilling through the trees. The natural charm of the farm paired perfectly with the quiet sweetness Joana and Dylan brought with them.

They admitted they were a little nervous before we started (as so many couples are!), but it didn’t take long before they completely settled into each other. A few prompts, a shared laugh, and suddenly they were just… them. Comfortable, connected, and totally in their own little world.

Throughout the session, I kept catching these little glances—soft, adoring looks that said more than words ever could. It’s one of my favorite things to witness: the way two people forget the camera is even there and just fall into their own rhythm.

There’s something really beautiful about photographing a couple who has history. Joana and Dylan move with a quiet confidence that only comes from years of knowing each other deeply. Their love isn’t flashy—it’s rooted, easy, and full of intention.

Some of my favorite moments from this session were completely unposed. A spontaneous spin. A burst of laughter. The way they’d whisper something only they could hear. Those are the memories that last—unfiltered and entirely them.

As we wandered through the farm, the session naturally slowed down. They walked hand in hand, paused in patches of flowers, and just soaked it all in. Nothing felt rushed. It felt like a little slice of their everyday love, just more dressed up.

There’s something so telling about how people hold each other. Joana and Dylan didn’t need direction when it came to closeness. Their embrace was natural, familiar, and full of tenderness—like second nature.

It was such a joy spending the evening with Joana and Dylan. Their connection is the kind that makes this work feel like magic. I walked away smiling, knowing we’d captured not just pretty photos, but a real, honest glimpse into a love story that’s still unfolding.

If you’re dreaming of a session that feels relaxed, meaningful, and full of real connection—just like this one—I’d love to create something beautiful with you.
