Fairy Festival At Life Under The Oaks Farm
Sep 21, 2022
On a gorgeous weekend in mid-July, I started my day in the glorious Lavender Fields at Life Under The Oaks Farm, where the owner Carolyn was hosting a fairy festival! Photographing an event is a little different than what I normally do, but I loved every second of it! This day was a total dream.
The entire field was decorated with little fairy details, and many people were dressed up in their best fairy attire. I was so amazed with everyone’s creativity!
When we first arrived, we were greeted with wand-making and crown-making stations. It was so sweet to watch Carolyn teach people how to twist the flowers together.
After their wands and crowns were finished, guests were treated to homemade lavender lemonade and lavender gelato, served by a local Italian ice cream shop called Frost. Frost is by far the most popular gelato shop in Tucson, and I go there frequently for my favorite flavor!
They also had a little gift shop where visitors could purchase lavender soaps, lotions, bundles of lavender, and other amazing local products!
Past the gift shop, there was an adorable children’s’ area with a tire swing, music, face painting, and crafts. The little fairies had a blast running around and soaking up the sun!
Guests could even take pictures with Cinderella and her beautiful carriage! This was such a cute photo opt, especially for the little girls.
Beyond that, there were rows upon rows of lavender fields. While people were walking around, I pulled them into the field for a gift of professional photos—something that not many of them expected! Tap here to see the full gallery on FaceBook!
The event was simply magical! Everyone had such a wonderful time, and I can’t wait to go again next year. Fly with you later!
