Eric and Tiffanie’s Family Session at Broadway Trail

Eric and Tiffanie are OG Katie Gilbert Photography clients, so it was awesome to update their photos with a Family Session at Broadway Trail. We captured so many epic shots!

I originally met Tiffanie because I’ve known her sister Tara for over a decade. When we were younger, my mom would help the youth group on mission trips, and I would go with her. Tara was one of the girls I got to know, and over the years our families have become great friends.

I knew Eric and Tiffanie prior to my JcPenny days, but they were actually one of my first clients when I was just getting started! I photographed them before their move, and also did their extended family session at Madera Canyon a few years ago.  

Eric owns his own company, and Tiffanie is a fantastic yoga teacher. I haven’t taken a class in a while (thanks, covid!) but I used to attend her chair yoga & Sip and Stretch (wine and yoga). 

I love this family so much that I get super excited whenever they book me. It’s hard not to! They’re so sweet together, especially the kids. 

Ava and Cole are twins! At ten years old, they were so enthusiastic. Chloe was seven at the time of this session, and now she’s eight! Happy belated birthday, Chloe!

During the session, it was so much fun to watch Cole get into the photos. He had so many suggestions about where we should go, and what scenery we should do. He even asked if he could jump out of a tree! With the parents’ permission, we agreed that he could. 

Naturally, all of the kids wanted to after that! They all did well, but especially the kids. Being photographed for over an hour can be tough on the kids, but we kept things so fun and stress-free that it was hard to stop! 

I had a blast playing with the golden hour lighting. With the sunshine on our side, I couldn’t have asked for a better family session at Broadway Trail! I can’t wait for your next one.

Every time I photograph you guys, it always ends up being one of my favorite sessions! Thanks for sticking with me throughout the years. It means more than you know! You guys are awesome!
