Lavender Farm – Barn Session

Life Under the Oaks Lavender Farm is a magical place year-round! While the lavender blooms in June, the beauty of this farm extends far beyond its peak season. 

This past year, the addition of a stunning new barn has elevated the location’s charm! It offers a perfect backdrop for photos in every season. For Emily and Kayla’s recent barn mini session, the blend of the rustic barn, vibrant farm animals, and their unique styles created a session that will be cherished for years to come.

Emily and Kayla have been beloved clients of mine for several years. Their trust in my work means the world, and they always bring their own special flair to each shoot. 

Emily dazzled in a gorgeous gown, her elegance radiating in every frame. Meanwhile, Kayla brought a personal touch to the shoot, wearing a custom suit that she had made during a trip to Vietnam. 

Although we missed Hagrid, their adorable dog (the farm only permits service animals), Emily and Kayla’s session was far from lacking. We made the most of the farm’s delightful residents—the animals! Capturing them alongside curious goats and other farm creatures added a playful and heartwarming element to their photos.

The barn itself was a star of the session! Its weathered wood and picturesque surroundings offer a timeless feel that enhances every shot. The versatility of this new addition is undeniable, providing the perfect backdrop no matter the season or occasion.
