Location Spotlight | Broadway Trail | Tucson, AZ

Are you searching for a new location for your next photography session in Tucson, AZ? Look no further than Broadway Trail in Saguaro National Park East! I’ve been shooting photo sessions here for years, and it’s by far one of my favorites.

I take clients here all the time, and it’s not hard to see why! This location offers stunning desert scenery, with the added bonus of the iconic saguaro cacti and breathtaking mountain views. Fun fact: the Saguaro National Park is so big that it’s divided into two sides, East and West. Between the two, it’s got over 150 hiking trails. Wow!

One of the best things about Broadway Trail is its accessibility. Even though there’s so many directions to go, the trail is easy to walk on and has a flat surface, making it perfect for all ages and skill levels.

That said, there is little to no shade on the trail on sunny days, so it can be hot during the summer months. Cloudy days are definitely our best friend in that department!

Whether you’re looking for a casual or formal shoot, this location offers the perfect opportunity to capture the magic of you and your loved ones in the natural beauty of the desert. Plus, we don’t have to go deep into the park to find a great spot for your photos!

The Broadway Trail is perfect for any kind of photo shoot you want! I’ve done everything from family sessions to styled portraits. Whatever your needs are, we’ll definitely find a great variety of backdrops to reach your photo session dreams.

However, it’s important to keep in mind that Broadway Trail can be busy with other hikers and photographers. It’s a public area, so we need to be mindful about other people and snap photos accordingly. 

Additionally, while the cactus population isn’t overwhelming, we still need to be careful to avoid stepping or falling into any of the plants. Ouch!
