Best Friend Senior Session

Fiona and Mackenzie are so excited to start the next chapter in their lives, starting with their best friend senior session! As recent high school graduates with big dreams, they are making plans to go to college in the fall!

Fiona is headed to Valparasio University, where she will be a part of the swim team! What an amazing opportunity for you, Fiona! Mackenzie is going to Northern Arizona University, where I got my bachelor’s degree!

Mackenzie also swims, so we knew for sure that the best location for our senior session would be near the Oro Valley Aquatic Center! We found a nice section of park with tall trees and a wavy walkway.

The girls have worked together ever since they were little kids. Their parents would always bring them to work, so they became friends out of necessity at first.

They weren’t close then, but now their friendship has grown enormously. It’s probably uncommon to see one without the other! Since they have graduated, they’re now closer than ever.

Because of how close their friendship became, it’s clear that the parents are now great friends because of it, too! Both sets were amazing, and Fiona and Mackenzie kept us all laughing. It was hard to keep a straight face!

You would never think it, but it was actually sprinking during the entire session! The girls were completely unfazed by the rain, focused on having a great time.

This is the first time I’ve taken photos of Fiona and Mackenzie, but they’re were naturals. Amazing job, girls!

During a drier part of the session, Fiona brought out her cello! Fiona wasn’t sure if we’d be able to incorporate the magnificent instrument, but we certainly did!
