Senior Session-Cole

Senior Sessions

May 7, 2021

Cole’s senior session was a blast to photograph. It was the first time I had the chance to photograph at Sanctuary Cove. The 2nd car I’ve gotten to use as a prop, 3rd time photographing a car, and the 4th time I have gotten to work with Cole’s family.

Cole’s senior year may have looked a bit different this year but that didn’t stop him from embracing this last year. Being online didn’t stop him from embracing the transition from a child to an adult. He’s been holding a stable job, keeping up with work, got his first car, and has even moved out on his own. Talk about embracing the transition from high school student to adult.

For his session, we drove out to Sanctuary Cove. An area that Cole and his friends visit often to go hiking. This location has a lot to offer. We were able to utilize the area to give Cole multiple looks for his senior session.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Cole for the last year. I met him through his mom Sue, whose wedding I photographed last year right before Covid’s shut down. While the last year has brought in some changes for everyone one thing that stayed the same is Cole and his mom’s relationship. Cole has a very special relationship with his mom. When talking to both of them you can tell how much they adore each other and want the best for one another. They text often and Sue is always posting about how proud she is of him and his accomplishments.

While we may have started at Sanctuary Cove, Cole wanted to be able to show off his car. We drove up the street to Stardance Event Center. They were gracious enough to give us permission to let us pull Cole’s car around and get some shots with the mountains and rocks behind him. Even letting us get some shots at their venue.

Congratulations Cole! I am wishing you the best of luck on all your future endeavors.

Let's Connect!

I can't wait to hear more about the memories you're looking to capture.
